Download FAQ

All New Earth Records MP3 downloads include the entire contents of the original CD. Each MP3 file has been individually re-mastered and encoded for the highest quality sound reproduction.

New Earth Records uses the standard MP3 format, so our digital files will play on virtually any computer or portable audio player, including iPods.

For your convenience, titles with more than one track are stored with each track as a separate MP3 file. Because of the size of these files, we recommend only users with access to a broadband Internet connection purchase MP3 downloads . Download files can be as large as 64MB in size.

After checkout, you will be provided with a link to download your purchase. You may download the file for up to 7 days. At that time the link will expire.

Please purchase MP3 files only if you are comfortable downloading files. Because there are so many different system configurations, our staff is not able to assist with technical/installation issues.

Please note that MP3 purchases are non-refundable. If you're not sure about your selection, please order a CD instead.

Download FAQ:

Q: Will MP3 files work on both Macintosh/Apple and PC computers?

A: Yes, MP3 files will work on both Macintosh/Apple and PC computers. Both types of computers will need an MP3 player such as: iTunes, Winamp, or Microsoft's Windows media player.

Q: Where do my downloaded MP3 files go when they are downloaded?

A: When you click on a download link you should be prompted with a "Save" dialog box. You can then select the destination of your downloaded MP3 file. You can put these files in a specific folder or on your desktop. Once the file has been fully downloaded, you can then add the MP3 to a specific play list or drag it directly into your iTunes.

Q: When I click on a download link music starts playing but am not prompted with a "Save" dialog box, why is this?

A: Some web browsers have a built or added-in media player like Apple's Quicktime. This means that your web browser will try to play the MP3 file instead of downloading it. The solution to this issue is a little different for PC and Macintosh/Apple users.

PC users will most commonly be using either Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser or Mozilla/Firefox. Internet Explorer and Mozilla users can use the right mouse button to click on the download link and a menu will appear. Internet Explorer users will choose "Save target as." Mozilla users will choose "Save link as." The "Save" dialog box will then appear and you can select a location for your download to be saved to.

Macintosh/Apple users will click on the download link. When the music starts playing, select the "File" dropdown menu in the upper left hand corner of your browser. From the "File" menu select "Save," the "Save" dialog box will then appear and your can select a location for your download to be saved to.

Q: How can I download a full CD?

A: New Earth Records Full CDs are divided into individual tracks. When you purchase a full CD you will be provided with download links to all of the individual tracks on the album. Full CDs are divided this way because a single MP3 file could be too big for many users' internet connections.
