After the boom that led to the exceptional union of the Oldfield siblings with the Release of Journey Into Space two years ago, and some surprises as the re-issue of the Making Tracks or previous Release with Soraya Saraswati, Peaceful Hearts, Terry Oldfield returns to his solo career presenting his new work, Sweet Awakenings.
In this new CD, Terry Oldfield maintains a distinctive musical style, where peace and harmony are born through peaceful melodies and sweet instruments, leading the listener into a state of relaxed awareness.
The album, which will be released by his usual record label since 2001, New Earth Records, will be available in stores September 1.
Terry Oldfield has recorded over 20 Albums and is well known for his excellent soundtracks for film and television. He has also been nominated for a British Academy Award and two prestigious Emmy awards.
